How many RO cocksuckers can you fit into one arena? Jeez

As much as I love watching snooker it doesn't seem like it would be that good to watch in person as you need a good view. The oen above doesn't look bad but I am sure there are many worse seats in the arena. Do you get a big TV up top to see a flat version of the table? Most peopel seem to be looking at the table but itseems liek it owuld be frustrating not to see all the angles you get on TV.

It varies from venue to venue. I go to the welsh open every year and the view is always good in the Newport Centre. Barry Hearn wants to move venues after this year though. Shame.

There are 2 TVS at the baulk end and 4 on each side. alternating the TV video feed and score. So you can always see the video and score where ever you are. Its also not as big as it looks on the TV. ITs quite a small venue.

Yeah and that's what I liked about it. It felt very cosy and close to the action. Where as the Antwerp PTC (only other snooker I attended) is played in a venue which also hosts basketball matches and pop concerts and has much bigger grandstands than at the Ally Pally.

The atmosphere at Alexandra Palace was amazing!

Will be back next year for sure!

Ronnie vs Selby it is then, they've met twice before in the masters final, in 09 when Selby lost 10-8 to Ronnie, and 2010 when Ronnie lost 10-9 to Selby.

Don't wanna see a white-wash.

Now that Ronnie appears to finally have sorted his mental issues out he's playing as well as he's ever done. Not many snooker players can maintain this kind of standard in their mid-late 30s. Hendry, White, Davis, Williams etc all declined pretty rapidly as they aged yet Ronnie (and possibly John 'I'm not corrupt, honest' Higgins) looks to have bucked that trend.

Wonder if Ronnie can match or better Hendry's World Championship record?

As for this final - Selby is the 'comeback king' however this gap will be too big for him here.

Old conference centre was very different to any venue they have now - audience much further away but i remember it quite well actually.
