Just got the BBL Melbourne Vs Adelaide on in the background.

Chris Gayle 51 off 12 balls, inc 7 sixes to equal the world record for a half century in 12 balls.

Very poor batting by his team mates though.

Gayle was so badly let down by his batting colleagues yesterday, especially White and Bravo. All they had to do was to recycle the strike and let him see the ball as often as possible but both of them were selfish and were out swinging the wood.

Extraordinary innings though. I saw him at Somerset this year v Kent and I'll never see another innings in the flesh like that again. Unbelievable hitting, even allowing for the short boundaries.

Good point. There was a lot of speculation when Somerset CCC teased the story last night and I thought then it wouldn't be Gayle because of the Rogers comments. That said, Gayle was a legend at Somerset last year, firmly ensconsed himself in the local, er, hostelries and seemed to love his brief time with us.

Gayle coming back is great news for both Somerset and the tournement in general. He will bring in the crowds. Great stuff.

I'm sure the ladies of Taunton are looking forward to his return.

Think i've just seen the best 20/20 for a long time

India chased 197 against the Australians & won off of the last ball,

Love it or hate it 20/20 is full of excitement.

India will be hard to beat in the up coming world cup on their home turf.

+1. Caught the last 2 overs, great hitting by Yuvraj.

It was indeed an incredible win by the Indians, well done them.

This game illustrated the stupidity of the current schedule with a bunch of players from game 2 missing last night because they are in NZ preparing to play there this week.

Wade missing and the stand in keeper missed a very simple stumping Yuvraj 1st ball, he didn't any more encouragement and launched the next ball and was on his way

May not have affected the eventual outcome because they still had enough skill in the hutch to keep going but it sure didn't help

McCullum has just smashed the fastest test hundred in his last ever test. From 54 balls. Previous record was 56 balls.

It's against the Aussie bowling 'attack'. Should the record even stand?

Some ridiculous shots, some luck, he'll certainly be missed. If you've got 12 mins.
