3 balls , England 0 - 2, never going to be able to get back to sleep now frown
Good to see that they have picked up from where they left off when they were last here.

We got bogged down though, it took just over 39 overs to knock the runs off biggrin

I see KP is the top scorer in the BBL in Oz...still we wouldn't want to pick "finished" players would we.

The problem was never his ability, it was that he was a massive tt.

No...he was sacked for "cricket reasons".

... and most of his "team-mates" can't stand the sight of him.

Really...can you point me in the direction of a source for that?

His team mates in the IPL seem to like him...in the BBL they seem to like him...when Fletcher was coach and Vaughn can't they seemed to like him.

And he was made scapegoat for England's piss poor Ashes series, despite being their leading run scorer...

Good to see him having a good time in the Big Bash.

KP said so himself numerous times.

He said virtually everyone else in the team was in a clique & were bullying him. Names that spring to mind were Flower, Prior, Swann, Broad & Anderson. Cook was harshly criticised by Pietersen & it was clear what Strauss thought about him when he called KP a accidentally on air.
Those are the examples I can think of off the top of my head. I think KP got on fairly well with Trott if that's any consolation.

So the bowlers...the group who introduced a rule where if a catch was put down the 'offender' had to publicly apologise.

He is one of those players who needed to be managed. When he had that England were brilliant...the managers who couldn't make it work are more at fault than any player.

Anyone watching the ODI between South Africa and the West Indies?

Incredible batting from the SA side. Rossoow out for 128, Amla's got a ton too and de Villers has hit 70-odd off 23 balls. Going to reach 400 at this rate.

Even so, KP was declining in form during the last couple of years as an England player & repeatedly batted like a total tt once he reached 25 or 30 runs.

Just flicked it on because of your posts. Insane. I remember when 250 was a good score.

The highlights of De Villiers' innings are staggering; I've never seen anyone move about the crease like that. Bob Willis says he's better than Viv Richards!
