I'll probably score better as my second shot won't be off the next fairway!
Most golfers (myself included) would score better if you restricted them to 5-iron and shorter.

Got an insanely good deal on Titleist 913 clubs yesterday from pro as new 915 stock is coming out.

Titleist are known to be complete rip off merchants so makes a refreshing change.

I have got vokey SM5's for £69 each
New 913 driver - £169
913 low spin 3 wood for £60 but this is slightly used
New 913 19 degree and 21 degree hybrids for £80 each

Ok - it is a lot of money when you add it all up, but still cracking value and will keep me going for a few years.

I will sell my Ping G25 and hopefully get good money for it.

That's a good deal and yet a lot of money unless you needed a complete change hehe

Golf equipment is too sexy and tempting.

Titleist get my vote as best golf company ever for what they did for Moe Norman smile

Although I love Wilson Staff also!

I didn't need a change if I'm honest, but what the hell...you only live once and I'm going for single figures next spring (only . 6 to go)
I had a Ping g25 I just couldn't get on with a G10 4 wood I love and old taylormade rescues. But just could pass up on the complete deal.

They are a the best brand to me, with great choice of shafts and the surefit technology is great as I can alter all the lofts on my clubs.

Completely with you on this. Its a shame Wilson Staff don't get the plaudits they deserve. I've got FG Tour Irons, they are so nice to hit & to look at. Very reasonable price wise also! Got mine for under £500 3 years ago & still going strong! Probably time for a regrip now thinking about it.

There's nothing quite like buying yourself a new set of bats!

I like playing on my own sometimes. Just stroll round at your own pace and relax.

It's a bit annoying not having anyone to watch your tee shots when the sun is low in your face, or help look for your ball, but other than that I love it.

FG Tour are lovely, I have the FG 62's and adore them!

In fact 10 out 14 clubs in my bag are W/S at the moment.

LH friendly too smile

Hapless, I enjoy playing on my own too, in fact most of winter will be 9 hole practice rounds on my own.

If it is quiet I'll hit a couple into each green, but tend not to putt out smile

Spoke to the pro shop at FOrest of Arden.

Tells me no need to book we will let you out on your own in a gap but he doubts it will be busy also tells me its 15 quid a round from 12.30.

DONE DEAL

Front 9 from about 1ish before it gets dark. Splendid.

Is that the Arden course? Very good deal if so.

I may well be in the market for a G25 depending on what it is.

Not sure I am assuming its the Aylesford course as its the cheaper one. Depending on weather and twlight rates I MIGHT try my hand at the front 9 of the Arden course. My co workers have been ripping it into me over my want to play golf on a work weekend.

Its on Ebay..9.5 degree, Ping stiff shaft. I also have another shaft for it which is proforce V2 ( awesome shaft) which was in my beloved Callaway FT9 but the head cracked! That shaft is not on the listing but would also consider selling that as it does have the PING adaptor on it.

link here, but may not work as I am the seller

How many rounds old is that? Mine has been used all season and the face is nearly unmarked. You must strike down with your driver to give those marks.

I got it 2nd hand off a mate at work and those marks were on there when I got it.
I have hardly used it and just used my 4 wood

So I'm coming to the end of my first round of 8 lessons. I've got the basics down and want to venture out on course a bit and will use the same guy to take me out on course.

I need to keep hitting the range at least once a week and get my form and swing more consistent.

I'm looking at trying some more clubs to go with my Ping G10s.

I was going to get the Ping G15 hybrid and either the Ping G10 or G15 driver? Both can be had for around £60 each. Or is there something better to look at?
