You have to play to the course and conditions. Its not like they dont know the course they use a lot of the same pin positions year in year out so no excuse really. Its the same for everyone.

Im looking forward to watching it tonight if i can find a site showing it.

Yesterday I had Rory to win his 3 ball yesterday.

Boom Boom to be best senior.

Not done a overall winner yet but just looking now the odds are pretty good apart from Scott.

The pin was tucked in to the left. It stopped pin high 8 - 10ft to the right of the hole, then trickled to the right. I don't know what he could do to hit a good shot in that case. He's not going to go left of the pin, and it seems impossible to hold to the right. I know not all of the greens and pin positions are like that, but some of them leave virtually no chance of leaving a makeable putt.

I'm not against the greens being hellishly difficult, but some of them do seem overly punitive.

Day 2 highlights were on bbc1 from 1.15pm. Should be on I player by now. Live coverage tonight bbc2 from 7.30pm
