The Pacers have won every single game this year when Roy has scored 10 or more points. He's a key element. Tonight's crucial.
Interesting stat! Although it does highlight the fact that he scores single digit points a lot of times...
He's a center though, his job is more than just scoring. You have to look at the whole picture including the affect that his sheer presence on the court has on the opposition. The scoring is just an indicator of his form and his confidence. I think the whole team is up right now, as they were for the first half of the season. Personally I think the departure of Danny Granger, who was their leader for a number of years, had more of an effect than people will admit to. But that's gone now and they are up for the Heat without a doubt.

So, the Finals are set. I really enjoyed the SAS-OKC series, fingers crossed that Duncan can get one more ring.

You're entitled to your opinion but you're talking out of your arse. Roy is a 2 time all star, including this year, and was runner up for defensive MVP this year. He's had a rough patch like most players have but he's a proven class act. Miami were beaten up today and not for the first time, we took them to 7 last year. If we win again in the field house Tuesday we'll win the series.
Not really out of my ass....got the spurs bit right! Lol ..great to see proper team basketball win. Can't stand lebron James personally. Re hibbert......well all I can say is if he isn't traded this offseason it's because he is way overpaid for his production levels. Jerome James got paid 10m a year a few yrs back after about 5 good games for Seattle so these things happen in the nba

Roy is totally different. He's a proven class act with a track record and was a proven class act when he got the big contract. That's why he was an all star again. He'll be going nowhere, I think Bird will keep the starting 5 together. And why not, for half of last season they had the best record in the NBA and finished top of the east. They are probably one signing away from having a championship winning team.

Glad the Heat got trounced, the era of the "big 3" is probably over. It was funny watching LBJ sit on the bench for the last 6 minutes of a must win game.

Got to give Lebron some credit though as he said "we beats me" which i think is a great quote.
On another note good luck to the England U15 boys and girls teams who are playing in Copenhagen over the next few days.

Do you think they will keep Stephenson? Something happened in that locker room in second half of season. I think they will let him go but will be interesting to see what offers he gets from other teams. He is a bit of a head case

Agree about the heat. I wonder what the 3 will do about there contracts. They can all opt out and sign for less than the max and build up a decent team around them. If one or two get greedy it could be all over. Wade is probably worth £10m a year max going fwd but doubt he will take it. He was terrible in the finals.

The free agency / draft period is always interesting.

I think they'll keep all of the starters but make big changes on the bench.

Silly season starting with free agency underway.

- will Stephenson regret knocking back 5 yrs / 44m? I reckon he may get 50m but who else is bidding for his services?
- Ben Gordon - 2 yrs / 9m.......wtf?!
- Jason kidd debacle. Unbelievable.
- Dirk signing for 10m a year is a bargain
- what will lebron and carmelo do? I hope the bulls get the latter and go for the title next year. Can't really see him giving up 5yrs/129m though.
