What a sorry state of affairs.

Complete cluster fk tonight.
I thought it was a great game. Australia were just better.

It's the end of a line for a lot of people tonight.

England embarrassed with that last try. Classy fans ring out the boos for their own team. Shameful.

I guess Wales are okay then smile Even if we'll get stuffed next week.

Indeed. As I said earlier, the English football and rugby teams are now equal in their lack of ability.

YES YES YES YES YES YES get in there. England just didn't deserve to win. Team didn't play as a team and a few to many idiotic moves which cost them in the end.

Sorry, but that's just the way I feel about it. If England do lose tonight, then I'll immediately transfer my complete and enthusiastic support to Wales, and I'll also happily support Ireland as a home nation, any underdog and even France (although I have an excuse, as I used to live there), but I'm afraid I've just experienced too much unpleasant edge to "banter" from Scots - something I've never experienced from the supporters of any other country - to now take any other line.

The unpleasantness from a very significant minority of Scots during the independence campaign surely can't have come as any surprise to any Englishman who's been in the crowd at an England vs Scotland rugby match.
Yeah because the Welsh Irish and French all like England more than the Scottish. hehe

The Scottish aren't any worse than anyone else.
In my experience, the Scottish are worse by several orders of magnitude.

Anyway, come on Wales from now on!!!

Hopefully there will be a silver lining in Lancaster showing some of the integrity he always bangs on about and resigning.

You can include arrogance in that as well.

By no means an excuse but just a question; I assume there's no seeding in these groups? Seems that in every other group the "big teams" have all got relatively easy groups yet Australia, Wales & England all got lumped together. Seems odd...
Groups were drawn 3 years ago.
Yes I appreciate that but hadn't realised Wales were considered as a lower team back then, they're doing well now! biggrin

The only time I think I've ever been deflated after an Aussie win.

Giving that win to Wales last week will haunt them for a while.

Tournament would have been much better with the home side in it. But there we go.

Hope we can go on and win this now. Foley was class.

I never thought I would live to see the day when an English pack was monstered by an Aussie one.

If you turn over to ITV +1 England are still in the RWC.

I thought Australia were very good, they managed the game well and scored some good tries exploiting weakness we showed. We should have won the Welsh game but threw it away, in this one we never seemed to be within a shout of winning.

Booing the kicker was quite endearing also.

Yes. I despise the England football team attitude and can't understand how many deluded people think they are a world class team. The rugby team have now had their awakening and change needs to be made.

Yup, bet Australia and you probably face Scotland in the next round. If you dont then it's the saffers.
