God dam it that defence was like a brick wall and more injuries. Anyone want to lend us a few players for next weekend?

What a game

Both teams played so well,

On that performance you'd have to seriously consider Australia for the World Cup.two men down and they didn't concede a point- in fact didn't they put three points on whilst a man down.

I seem to remember England doing something similar the same year they won a World Cup

That should keep the Welsh subdued for a few hours. hehe

Quality game, how at this level you can gain on the scoreboard whilst two men down... incredible effort but even so I bet the Wales coaching staff are not best pleased.

Wales should have instantly kicked 3 points it was unmissable then 9 more mins to score more. Instead Wales got sucked into the fk you were manning up wrong choice if it's not working go smart.

However that and the earlier Scot game are some of the best games I've ever watched.

Just imagine if Wales were full strength? Given most will be back for 6N I think every side is very concerned to play Wales heck id say any of the other 6 sides in the 1/4'rs would look at Oz and Walex and think fk battle hardened and winners.
Even though a loss and a couple of silly choices making the difference (yet again) I'm wearing my Welsh top with utter pride yet again. Them boyos done good.

Serious defence from the Aussies - they are much better at that than they used to be. Impressive Welsh commitment so far and a lot better technique at the breakdown than England.
Said it after 10mins. They only got better after that!

The Aus have turned into a serious team from the shambles they were at the start of the yr.

Isn't Cipriani massively back tracking there? Saying what was between him and Catt wasn't a big deal and was resolved etc, yet the way I interpreted his column/interview in the paper was that they were still at loggerheads and it was quite a big deal?

It's good that they still televise these bottom of the group games (England vs Uruguay). It gives the emerging nations a bit of coverage and the players some big crowd experience.

England probably qualify as an emerging nation given current form

No they do not... They have 4 part time players. 4 semi pro's. Not a single full time player.

(Unless you are talking about England, who look like Amateurs to me).

In light of the previous confusion regarding bonus points:

The England team have been informed that they're still out even if they get a bonus point tonight?

So we are out but we start with a 37 year old even though he has two tries tonight how does that help for the future.Something seriously wrong with England management

I think they need three bonus points.
