Do Irish rugby venues not serve pint then? confused

The only rugby match I've ever been to that didn't was at Wembley when the Welsh were using it as their home stadium during the building of the Millennium Stadium!
They do, however, the Olympic Stadium and Wembley for the prior two games were 400ml plastic bottles of Heineken for roughly a £5. £4.50 for a pint yesterday was a much better arrangement!

They certainly do!

I love the Millenium Stadium (Leinster's HC win over Northampton in 2011 being a particular favourite memory for me), but the atmosphere at Landsdowne Rd can be electric too

I would also say 'Just Do It' - sorry.....

The atmosphere in and around Cardiff, let alone the Fan Zone - and don't begin to underestimate inside the stadium - was the best I can recall. Much better than a 6N game in my opinion.

Although having said all that - both Aus and Wales put in a great shift today and fully deserve it.
That's the problem, England were certainly third best in group A.

England should be qualifying top of a group though, their natural position should be up in the top 4 or 5. England shouldn't be having trouble progressing into the 1/4 finals of any rugby competition. They need to climb up the rankings before the draw for the 2019 World Cup is made or they could easily find themselves in another group of death. The last draw was in 2012 so if that timescale is repeated then the next draw will be in 2016.
Except they shouldn't. They're ranked 8th in the world.

A player in his position and of his experience has a myriad of ways to inflict pain on another player. Why he felt it necessary to do something so blatant and in the open is beyond me. There has to be a story behind it. Definitely one match but I wouldn't be surprised at more.

I'd be surprised if that's only a week. Which basically means that's his tournament done.

I'm pretty sure it has to be minimum of two weeks. Stupid move, still he capped it off with a man of the match hehe

That's f-all. We once had a head coach that dressed up as a wizard at a team meeting. Funnily enough he failed to get us out of a world cup group too.

Depends on what biscuits he brings to the hearing.

The sad thing is it was so blatant I don't know why the TMO didn't pick it up. If he had (and there was plenty of opportunity to do so) that was a straight red and Ireland would probably have lost the game.

Philippe Saint-Andre is rightly pissed.

I am not a fan of post matching citing and would prefer that stuff like this was just left on the pitch.

But I can't see how that won't end his world cup.

I was trying not to fall asleep on the sofa at the time - a reflection of the night before, not the quality of the rugby! - but I'm sure I remember the commentator at the time saying something about Pape have history with the Irish team, and it not being surprising they were out for him after something that occurred with one of their teammates?

Yeah I think he left a knee in Heaslips back in the 6N.

So if there's any element of that little crumb of knowledge making it's way into the hearing then he's proper fked.
