Yeah I think he left a knee in Heaslips back in the 6N.
So if there's any element of that little crumb of knowledge making it's way into the hearing then he's proper fked.
In fact, here you go:

Unfotunately it only looks like he groped Sean O'Briens ass before he punched him. Does that warrant a punch to the stomach ?? Flimsy defense admittedly, but there is precedent in every nightclub in the country every weekend So if there's any element of that little crumb of knowledge making it's way into the hearing then he's proper fked.

POC is out of the RWC unfortunately, a sad end to an illustrious career.
Much as he has been the bringer of much frustration and woe to England over the years, I agree that it's a sad end to such a magnificent career and the loss of another legend of the International game. A great shame.Sad outcome but fairly obvious after seeing him on the floor, would take a lot to keep that man down. O'Connell is a great leader and awesome player. He led Ireland to greatness in the six nations and Munster through some of their most successful years.
Feel lucky to have had him in the Ireland team, he added so much and inspires the other players. Hopefully he'll be a big part of the back room through this world cup and the future.

Was a two week suspension reduced to one due to previous good character. Happy with that!
I'll bet you are, what a joke! Andrew Cotter @MrAndrewCotter
So by that reckoning, if Gray and Ford have got O'Brien's legal team they'll escape a ban and be given 5 thousand pounds in prize money.
Will settle for that re SOB, just need to focus on Argentina now. Hoping Jordi Murphy gets some game-time on Sunday now too
Feel very sorry for POC but such is the game. His influence in getting Irish rugby to where it is now (and where it's hopefully going) has been huge, much like Drico. Landmark players both of them

You seem a bit animated about it and it was hardly crime of the century.
