Nothin dramatic there, looks like common sense.

It was odd to see the Boks pass the ball past first centre, I did not think that was allowed by Meyer. De allende and kriel have a good future ahead.

Le roux has been off his game for a while, Pat Lambie is a much better option. Malherbe is looking like a good option at prop along with Nyakane, Vermuelen is going to be hard to replace, the man is a machine. The lock pairing are shaping up into a formidable unit.

Even Ruan " ten steps before passing " Pienaar looked okay tonight. Argentine deserves that try at the end, they have been good value this tournament again.

Burger, Matfield and hopefully Jannie Du Plessie have played their last bok match, long serving, possibly too long serving but still good servants of the game.

according to the BBC 'almost every player in the All Black side can claim to be the best in the world in their position'

depends how you define 'almost' and 'claim' I suppose.

Typical of World Rugby Cup. All the other big matches kicked off at 20.00.

Fiver minutes in the OZ half and much of that in the 22.

They're up for this.

Hooper and Pocock possibly the only back row players as good at being a pain in the ass as McCaw, bloody brilliant turnover.

A brilliant try. At the right time as well.

Didn't come as a surprise though.

Good to see them playing with some intent! No shortage of physicality either.

Advantage over from something that wasn't a penalty.

A tremendous turn around there.

As the commentators suggest, 14 points for the yellow.

Mind you, I don't think his absence was a factor in the first try.
