Wow! What a game. Well done black. Aussies should be proud of their performance, but the All Blacks just had too much. Time for a beer, despite the early hour here....

Best team won. Great game and a good comeback by the Crims but the first half cost them the game.

I've actually emailed ITV to say well done. Not something I can remember doing in the past to any TV company.

Mind you, they were blessed by the matches.

Brilliant tournament. Good for rugby. Good to watch. Shame it is over. Mind you, I'm in the process of publishing a new website and it is a week late. Just too much rugby? No, but quite a lot.

Quick question though @ 41.30 (lead-up to Nonu try) high tackle missed and fingers quite close to eyes?

Thinking of going out to Japan for their RWC. My daughter-in-law is Japanese so no problem with where to stay.

Wasn't the only high tackle I noticed either, guess if the ref doesn't see it then he doesn't see it though. Didn't want to spoil a good game by grumbling about it!

I missed that. Wow, what an amazing thing to do!! A great couple of off-loads, totally chuffed for Dan Carter too. That being said I also wanted to see Drew Mitchell score at least one try (preferably 2!!)

You could see in the first 5 mins that the AB's were playing with incredible intensity...amazing performance from the Aussies to get back to as close as they did and then it was the Dan Carter show.

Just an incredible team.

Be very interesting to see how it all develops over the next four years...Cheika did an amazing job in a year, the Saffers have got a very young team and the AB's have still got 600 or 700 caps in the team even once the a few well known faces retire.

Six Nations sides are just nowhere in comparison. First things we need to do is play club/provincial rugby at a pace similar to the international game...I can't remember the stats but the ball is "active" a hell of a lot longer in the Rugby Championship/Super Rugby.

The rucking today was a class apart from what we normally see. Also cleverly done. No over commitment and as soon as the ball was theirs, the line was formed.

I take the point about ball in play time as well.

The play was a bit fierce at times. I'm not sure we've got many clubs who could weather the injury rate.

Do we need to follow their style or can we set up our own system that suits our strengths?

But what a few weeks of rugby, eh?

What a legend.

"I thought I'd make it a night to remember for him, rather than my medal hanging up at home or something like that," said the All Blacks star.

"It will be hanging around that guy's neck and he can tell that story for years to come. He might be a future All Black!"

Us also Dereck. Had some camper van ideas. But they won't quote prices yet.
We also have a connection with family/pals. And want to book book within the next 18 months.

I will let you know anything worthwhile.

I'm not quite sure why you bothered to congratulate itv. I thought their coverage was poor, mainly due to the volume and timing of the adverts.
