Criminal. The existing name is perfect

Yeah but the existing name doesn't give you 15 million quid in your sky rocket!
Are the WRU nearly Debt free - they were close before this so if the stadium is finally paid off in 15 years from build date that's not bad given it will keep going for what 40 years more. Let's hope this time they actually provide in advance for the replacement so can choose to pay cash next time if they so wish over debt. Welshbeef said:

Yeah the WRU should aim to be debt free and save for a new stadium while the dkmestic game dies at professional and grass roots level. Jesus wept.
So they kick the can down the road so the future generations of rugby have to suffer. We've been suffering these last 15 years and counting with this debt burden - now /soon to be ended will mean more for the investment at grass roots which is all it needs & a North Wales rugby side and Midwales too.

So top link is the latest showing last Oct 201;4 total debt stood at £15.5m down from £22m.
Second link confirms their aim to be debt free by 2021 - this renaming deal goes way beyond the rate to clear the debt and allows opportunity to build up reserves for the next stadium/improvements over borrowed money.
Check things out before you lob a st parcel my friend .

Your last post is a bit more legible and I wouldn't have commented on it.
So I wasn't lobbing a st parcel, just pointing out that a lot of your posts look like you are wking at the same time as you type.

Well I wasn't expecting that! Just applied for tickets in the final allocation and got 4 tickets for the Aus game, both semis and the final.
Thought I would have no chance and ending up with loads.
Anyone else get any?
The costs though are crippling. Thought I would have no chance and ending up with loads.
Anyone else get any?
Lots of ideas in the Telegraph of people renting out their house for 4-6weeks for £15-20k.
I'll enjoy it from home with Kegs.
We have 4 tickets for England Australia. Just been on site and tickets still available for both semi finals.
Will Greenwood's starting XV for England and Fiji; an insightful read...

Some of the tickets were expensive but no doubt nearer the event the market rate will be higher, difficult one for the organisers. Don't suppose I'll be able to go to all the games anyway.
Some of the tickets were only £15 as they were for kids which I thought was good.
Yes there are plenty of stories of people asking for silly money to rent out that houses, whether they get it is another matter.

Greenwood's team you can be pretty confident will be the starting XV against Fiji. Ben Morgan's improvement from the France to the Ireland game was impressive and if he's showing more in training might get a start but he's still only had two games so I doubt it. Locks don't know, Launchbury on form is one (only one?) of our only players that would make a world XV, not sure if I'd have Lawes or Parling so wouldn't be disappointed with either really either starting on on the bench. Will Greenwood's starting XV for England and Fiji; an insightful read...

Ford over Farrell 100%, I watched the full Ireland game this week and Farrell butchered a few pretty clear chances to put people in, but the whole team left a lot of points.
Youngs of the hooker variety, Got to say George looks a better all rounder but can't chuck him in just yet can you?
Wing parings, no doubt May has played himself in. Nowell is a good all rounder and can also cover centre from the bench.
Thought Tom Wood had a good game against Ireland, he's not brought quite enough for a while now IMO. We seem short of carrying at times so if he can bring that on top of his defensive and lineout work he's above Haskell.
Centre pairing, shame Slade hasn't had more game time as I'd save Joseph for the Aus and Wales games potentially but as it is Joseph and Barritt probably need game time together, Burgess looking like a good impact bench option.
Looking forward to it now, not sensing much hype or build up in the media at the moment?
Well I'm now rather hacked off with the World Cup!
I just sat down with my youngest (and only other rugby fan in the house), aged eight to see which England games we were going to watch together on the sofa with popcorn, and every single bloody group game starts at 8pm!!!
I know they want to make money out of the event (the bloody ticket prices are enough to confirm that!), and I know there's a big demand for screening the leading nations' games at times which are accessible to the convicts and sheep fondlers, but would it really have been too much to ask that they put at least one of the England matches on at a family friendly time?
In the meantime, however, some good news for Warren Gatland!!!! Evidence below that in the light of Rhys Webb's injury, he could always fall back on Shane Williams!!!
And yes.... Yes, that is Louie Spence he's hammering into touch!
