now I'll be the first to admit that I know the sq root of fkall about cricket so please bear this in mind with my following stupid question....

being in mind how badly things seem to have been going since the Ashes (and to be fair even during) has the ruthless self-publicist, KP, been jettisoned too early? Has he been made a scapegoat or would you happily see the end of him?
In the end KP is box office, a showman and entertainer, big ego, big talent. That has always be an anathema to some in Cricket, especially those that believe cricket is a team sport. when in fact it isn't.

KP is hard to manage and in fairness is in decline in terms of dominance. But was he let go to early, in my view yes. But I am also sure he couldn't work with Moores or Cook again.

England miss him for the weight of runs and the sheer fun of him being in the team, love or hate. But actually as a batsman these days, I am not so sure. I think he deserved a chance to get his 10'000 test runs.

Good times. Lucky Haydos dropped that dolly at slip eh.

As an aside I love Tony Greig's commentary.

Never tire of seeing the baseball shot, like swatting a wasp. Only against one of the most accomplished bowlers of the time.

Still, best drop him hey.

What a bezarre cricket match, ok bad flat pitch, to have tailenders both scoring a 100runs partnership on both sides, that must be a 1st!

Day 4 and not even 1 innings each! Unless the pitch changes or swings in the ball the England are the better swing bowlers putting pressure it will be a draw!

Ah radio updated saying 1st in test centary, last test 50 partnership in 1915! Dam almost ran out! silly billy!

If we can bowl them out for less than 200 with 2/3 sessions left, then it will be game on tomorrow
