Anyone remember the Tebbit test?

Norman Tebbit that is, for those of you less politically astute than my good self.

Plenty of time to improve before the World Cup.

Exciting stuff this. Cook nearly at a run a ball. England cricket team is just like us English in general conservative to say the least!

It might have failed, but at least they stuck in Moeen at 3.

Another commanding 220 - 240 score looms. Need to attack attack attack. 4.5 and over just not good enough these days.

Have a whack lads.

We are terrible

I will just pretend this isn't happening and follow the Ladies Cricket instead.

Sick of Cook and the management, sick of us not being able to play spin, sick of the ECB charging £80 a day to watch this utter utter crap

Love this on cricinfo

"54 runs in Powerplay has changed the complexion of the match." Indeed, Reju. England will now only suffer a respectable five-wicket defeat, rather than be utterly mullered again

Come on Roooooooot - lets have it.

Great ton from Rooooooot. Typical Yorkshire wink. But they are still going to be 40-50 runs light.

Well in Joe. This innings will be instrumental in making India face more than 40 overs before their inevitable victory.

He had half the teams runs by the time he got out, you'd be rooted without him

Loved that interval session slot with Wazim Akram explaining his bowling techniques and secrets, as a left armer myself I'd always watched him very closely, a true genius with the ball on all pitches in all manner of conditions.
