Cricket: 2014 India tour of England, 9th July-7th September
Discussion
Best hope for any kind of result is for England to take quick wickets this morning when there is a bit of moisture around.
If not then I think India will bat until after tea to wear down the England bowlers ahead of the next test and try and have a go at Cook to heap more pressure on him.

I suspect today will be dull
Oh for a pitch with some life.
Well I thought that very entertaining. Cook is in his own cricketing Black Hole of Calcutta, but he gave the crowd something entertaining to watch at the end. I was really enjoying it on TMS whilst shelling my broad bean crop harvested today.Oh for a pitch with some life.
That's the problem with English cricket though, a 46 year old bloke enjoying it immensely on the wireless whilst gardening.
We need to get it being enjoyed by people 16 years old. Not an easy task I admit.
Cricket should be compulsory at schools up to the age of 16 ever week rather than RE. At least it will get kids off the computers, tablets, phones and screens at try to get them slightly fitter.
