Has Shotmiser gone bust?

For the first time in ages I went to download a new course, the website won't connect and when I tried calling this morning I found the phone numbers disconnected.

The hand held unit works fine, it will be a shame if it is now redundant for anywhere other than my home course!

I saw a thread on the golf monthly forums about this as i have a golf buddy with the same issue.

I sent him the below information
( see thread : http://forums.golf-monthly.co.uk/showthread.php?62... )

He sent away his device and £50 for the upgrade last week after talking to them on the phone :

They have ceased trading but Snooper are willing to step in see below

Thank you for the information, unfortunately, we have been informed that Shotmiser have ceased trading and therefore you will not be able to update your golf course data nor receive any technical support. At Shotsaver, we manufactured Shotmiser units, we can for a one off charge of £50, update your Shotmiser to Shotsaver Tour Pro software, where you will then be able to download course data and continue to receive technical support from our team.

For more information on Shotsaver products please visit our website www.shotsavergolf.co.uk

If you wish to update your unit, please feel free to contact us. We will require your Shotmiser unit to be sent to us along with a cheque and we can update the software. Please note that unfortunately any golf course data or score data stored within your unit will be lost during the upgrade.

If you require sending back to us your unit
