Big news for England is that no James Anderson. His been ruled out, still recovering from his knee injury.

England ODI squad to tour Sri Lanka:
Alastair Cook(captain), Moeen Ali, Ian Bell, Ravi Bopara, Jos Buttler, Steven Finn, Harry Gurney, Alex Hales, Chris Jordan, Eoin Morgan, Joe Root, Ben Stokes, James Taylor, James Tredwell, Chris Woakes.

Dear Alastair, if you care about England's chances this winter, pls resign and just concentrate on Test cricket...#getHalesin

He has a point, if your a batsmen and not scoring runs, you shouldn't be in the team. Don't know how Cook is still captain. His only made one half century in his last 18 innings. His last century was in June 2012.

If AB De Villiers, Chris Gayle or Virat Koli weren't making runs, that would be a concern. Cook making runs would be a concern as that would cement his place. Playing test match cricket at the top of the order hasn't worked in one day cricket since 1975. Cook should retire gracefully, hand the reins over and concentrate on being the world’s best test opener which he almost certainly is. England need someone who can score at a s/r of 100+ and make the bowlers worry about where they’re going to get carted.

Not a bad effort from England's bowlers although we are struggling with our 4th and 5th choices. Stokes went for 28 off 2 overs which is not good.

Slow over rate again though which could see Cook get banned.

Lets hope we do not see another England collapse in the batting stakes

Cook made a good start, had the chance to go on and make a good innings, went on 34. Moeen Ali just got to his 50, classy player.

Cook suspended for next game for slow over rate. Saw a rumour that the England bowlers were bowling slow, to force this...no clue how true.

3 overs left quite a few short at this stage. Taylor has done well and possibly booked a slot for the WC. Bits from others but nobody went on to make a hundred and let others bat round them.

Nice little cameo from Morgan at the end.
