It's controlled by Augusta National. Similar to the 3pm blackout on UK football fixtures. I think they try and build up a bit of mystique about it. TV crews used to be banned from the whole front 9, the only way to ever see it was to go there.ManFromDelmonte said:

Anyone got a link to a live stream of the Masters?
Free sky stream - http://www1.skysports.com/masters/news/24512/97962...I thought Woods played some really good stuff yesterday .What I find a bit strange is how he needs to be "taught" anything about the game and whilst physically a driver can destroy your back the same cannot be said about a putter.
I hope he does well.
"Come on Ernie lad" was the shout at Hoylake a few years back so come on Ernie.

Really not a fan of Speith. Can't deny his talent. Just maybe needs some media training. Would much prefer Rose or Mcilroy to win it. Great to see the Big Easy up in the mix after day one as well.
I would love Rose to win it but how in the name of God did he become 34 years old !!! it seems like yesterday he was just a young kid missing cuts here there and everywhere. Paul Casey is doing ok too.kentlad said:

Each way bets on Spieth and Rose looking good at the moment!

As for McIlroy, something isn't right with him at the moment. he shouldn't be shooting the same score as 65 year old Tom Watson. Needs to sort himself out, can't see him winning this on yesterdays showing.

I agree to an extent but yet again the TV bods devoted way too much attention to him. His playing partners were one of the current best players in the world and a European Ryder cup hero and they rarely got shown in the coverage. And I had to cringe at the hero worship commentator descriptions of 'magnificent' chips and pitches that he played.....especially since they always followed a st shot that had put him in the position in the first place!I hope he does well.

I know what you mean one of his drives flew of the toe so far right on most courses it would have been out of bounds.Something very wierd going on inside that mans head.I guess we will have to wait for Saturday to get good coverage.
