It's not good, Augusta should be terrifying to play at all times imo.

It's a great leader board so far.
I think thats what Woods was refering to.The greens seemed very slow indeed.Maybe today it will be different it certianly caught a few out though.

In my view the course should vary and it doesn't always have to be lightning fast. That just would always favour a certain type of player.

Although the scores are quite low this week apart from the guy miles out in front it's pretty mixed up.

Lets see though.

Is it me or do the greens not look as errr green as they have done in recent years? They look quite mottled and patchy in colour to these eyes. Not good Augusta, not good. smile

Just seen the Sky highlights of Tiger's start to the third round. He's playing phenomenally well given his almost complete lack of tournament play for 12 months. All credit to him. Hope he has a good finish.

This young lad is certainly bringing the best out of the chasing field. Looking like a great evenings golf already.

Absolutely brilliant day of golf and looking great for tomorrow's final round.

Jordan's lead not unassailable, Rory and Tiger in a monster of a pairing, has Rose got what it takes?

Out of sheer curiosity while watched the Sky Sports Masters Breakfast thingy, I thought I'd see how much I could get one of the fancy golf simulators for.

Unsurprisingly, they're eye wateringly expensive new, but used ones are less horrendous than I thought. I've never used one, but god I want one now biggrin

And on the motor sport front a formula 1 GP, plus WEC from Silverstone, and World superbike and later MotoGP !

I's like Jordan to win this, no melt down. Totally decent bloke with a family also in the same vein. No big heads there. Justin Rose is the same.

With all the Tiger or Rory thing it would be good to get back to, as they say over there, "It's the golf, stupid!"

I'm of the same opinion. He's played some beautiful golf, collected a fist full of records on the way and if he gets it, he's earned every bit of it. Hoping he can finish in the 60s again too.

All that being said, I'd love to see it come down to the wire as there's little more special than a back 9 nail-biter at Augusta. I'm hoping Justin has a scorcher of a round too.

Wonderful weekend for sport all told!

Agree ! looking dull over there at the moment, more UK than USA. So I more humidity for the greens. The wind is tickling the flags though.

I have Moto2 on one screen and masters amen corner on the other. The fast and the not so furious. And beer to hand. Fantastic Sunday evening, hope my fellow PH's are enjoying it as much as me.

The bad news is it might be work tomorrow frown

Poulter just left it really short with that put.

It actually looks like more like Wentworth out there at the moment

Chaps, why do their iron shots make that lovely whipping sound? Is it the microphones or because they swing so fast?

Pretty sure mine don't make that sound!

Microphone effect.

I have to say as a Rose fan I hope Spieth brings it in. He has been simply superb, and seems a very solid guy. He has made fun of this course. It will be much faster again next year.
