I have been a fan of this sport for 5 hours. Same for Seattle seahawks. Yet, I cannot describe my rage that they didnt use the huge guy (Lynch?) that was running through everyone all game and elected instead to throw it to the other team. Utter b'stards.

Who are you plumping for?Pats seem to have the better O and slightly better D
Let me get this straight...The Partiots have a better D than the Seahawks? That's what you're saying isn't it?

that put brady ahead of my NFL Hero Joe "big sky" Montana...records are there to be broken and puts Brady firmly in the realm of the greats if not the greatest.

for the first time in years I didn;t stay up to watch but will catch the highlights.

I wish the NFL season were a bit longer though, all seems to be over so quickly whereas baseball goes on and on and on...

Only watched the first half before i bailed, but recorded the second half so will watch that later.

Glad the Pats won over the Seahawks, but seemed a very close game in the end which is exactly how a Superbowl should be. The first half was a real contrast of tactics with the Pats drives being slow and steady with both WR running great plays to sneak 1st downs and get up the field and get the touchdowns. Seattle on the other hand while not firing on offense pulled out some huge plays to get them down the field and score.

To score a touchdown inside 30seconds is pretty good just before the half ended.

It seems the 2nd half was just as good.

The only advantage of no sleep from a 1 month old baby:

Superbowl training.

I feel fine this morning!

I still think the MVP should have been the Seahawks WR who got their first TD. He was EXCEPTIONAL. And I'm a Pats fan.

Deafening sound of silence here in the US this morning as millions of bandwaggoning Seagulls "fans" jump ship again.

Very classless team and very classless fans. Not much sign of that gobste Richard Sherman after the game, he had plenty to say earlier.

Considering the opponents how on earth do you claim seattle is classless, we may have player who wont talk and (at least) one which wont shut up but still.

As for classless fans this is clearly and simply not true. Yes the glory wes but they will always pick and choose but for the true fans the ones who live in seattle, were brought up in seattle, have fallen in love with seattle, and have followed them through the dark (and i mean you need to go onto the torch thread to see a way out dark) periods are far from classless.

What did surprise me was that Seattle have such lowly ranked receivers with Baldwin at 42, Kearse at 85 and Wilson (TE) at 120.

Shows how much they rely on either Lynch or Wilson (QB) to gain the yards and get them up the field.

Lynch was the highest points score at 25 overall for players who are not a kicker with 102 points.

If you look at those stats it does the pressure on Lynch to score and the defense to shut teams out.
