Always good to see the chokers choke!
I think it was chokers v.s. chokers.

Great game all round.
Why the obsession with choking? It was a close game ... yes there was a winner and a loser and a few mistakes on each side but nobody "choked" ...
Na the pressure got to SA.

Their ridiculous bewildered blind throws at stumps. Bowling full and wide. They were choking all right.
They play some of the best cricket, but can't hack it when it comes to the crunch. It's nothing new, look at other previous tournaments.

The issue is that they are classed as chokers, that is why they actually start choking. Terrible cycle to get into.

I just remembered, New Zealand knocked South Africa out in the 2011 world cup too, that was one of the biggest chokes ever. 222 to win. Cruising at 108-2, then suddenly they were 172 all out....

Shame the rain came when it did , I think it cost SA the win.

To come off when they were just opening up was a disaster for them.

Despite some brilliant fielding stops from both sides , there were some awful cock ups with dropped catches and missed run outs from SA.

Exciting game , had me sat outside a clients house watching it on the ipad , I could see the curtains twitching , obviously wondering what the hell I was doing biggrin

what cuased SA the win was poor fielding late on the y could have killed the game apart from a few silly mistakes.
but viewing as a neutral what a fantastic game and the last over was epic.

Just watched the highlights. What a game, what a run chase. Not just one of the best world cup games, but one of the best games ever!

South Africa are probably the best fielding side in the world, but today it let them down, run out chances and the drop catch in the penultimate over was hilarious.

What an innings by Grant Elliott.

Well lets see if the other Semi is as good i have a feeling it may well be.
Oh and by the way I hope the England players took note.

I’m sure the England Management have taken some positives from this game rolleyes

Also looking forward to tomorrow’s game and if it’s half as good as todays I’ll be very happy ...

Yeah one day cricket hit the ball hard and run fast. Bowl a length.

It'll only get faster and more attacking as well.

I'm sure I saw NZ with about about 5 slips at times.

Aussie - Kiwi final would be good. Hopefully we will fire against India.

I just watched the underarm bowling of the 1981 again on youtube, what a farce! I hope the NZ bowl underarm for their 1st bowl just to psych out the opposition a bit!

That was pretty poor - bad enough that Greg Chappell didn't have the faith in his brother to bowl one ball and not get hit for 6, but Trevor Chappell didn't have enough faith in himself to tell his brother to ps off. And worse of all was denying a sporting chance for the opposition to win it fair and square. Gutless really.

With this crowd it's more like a home game for India than Australia.

329 is a very tricky chase considering Aus record at the SCG. India need 7 an over from here in , 10 wickets left. Where is your money ?

and should have been a lot more.

I thought Watson was going to launch them closer to 400 , but he just couldn't get into it, you could see his frustration.

They were saved from disaster in the last 4 overs , but,

My money is on India from here on.
