It is to do with wickets, so shortened innings, but we are unlikely To be bowled out, so we can fling the bat a bit more from the start.

I do agree though, looks a little steep and spoils the work done by the bowlers.
Yep. D/L punishes good bowling by the team fielding first & gets the team batting first off the hook.
Utterly crap system.

Well we need a miracle now. 10 an over.

5 wickets down.

Can't see it, but I think we have been hard done by in the two rain affected matches.

A very very impressive chase.

Well played NZ a real pleasure to play against such a great bunch of blokes.

Kudos to Morgan, really threw the shackles off the team, great stuff.

Fantastic series one of the best I have seen. Credit to NZ played tough cricket but decent fellas as well. How cricket should be played. Great knock by Bairstow came into the series at the last minute and was the match winner. Hopefully we can build on this team and this series.

Definitely brought me back to watching cricket. How many England teams have just fell apart at the first sign of trouble. As long as they keep this positive attitude they will win far more than they lose but even in defeat we will be able to say they give it a good go. 20=20 should be fun

Agree with everything that has been said about this series and NZ. Presumably few of this team will be in The Ashes when Cookie, Broadie, Bellie, Aliie, Ballancie etc. all return?

In the end, it was a good win for England; but the D/L needs getting rid of. Two mathematician geeks coming up with a system to help a sport.
Everytime I hear the names mentioned you know its bound to be unfair.

The D/L spoiled two matches and needs to be worked on still as Alex says, but I do agree with what you said.

When we have Aus v England we have to much sledging and aggro. This series against NZ has been a fantastic remedy. You are right Gargamel the NZ team deserve utmost respect. The NZ commentators in TMS superb also.

Hats off to both teams. bow

I'm guessing it will not be as sporting next. Which is a shame.

Tendulker tends to disagree, in an interview during a lunch break in the 2nd test he said he preferred to play against Australia, citing both the competition and sportsmanship as being of the highest order

I think whatever happens on the pitch in the Ashes, the players would still go and have a beer together at the end of the day
