What did we do without KP...
We stopped criticising players for going for their shots ....

I wonder if Bell is going to get back into the test side.

Anyone feel like taking a punt on Morgan at five instead ?
Possibly (what about Bairstow, or is he now 'in'?). Bell has been a wonderful player but he's past his best now and it's time for the new order.

Buttler is first choice keeper, just depends if Bairstow is kept as reserve. I would presume unless Buttler gets injured then or doesn't recover from his hand injury then Bairstow will be playing county cricket this summer.

I agree.

I also think we need a long hard look at the bowling attack.

Either way, I'm looking forward to the Oval in August a bit more than I was a few weeks ago biggrin

Even Morgan has ruled his chances of being in the test side as nil.

Hmm wayward Mitch is looking useful in the tour match, could be a fair attack with Starc, Johnson, Hazlewood/Harris & Lyon.

Top order looks to have shaken off the rust early too

They're playing Kent. It's a bit like a teenager claiming to be a man when he can drink four pints of Heineken, not realizing that it just doesn't count.

Watson got 81 in the second innings. Christ... Kent must have no attack whatsoever! Watson gets out on 32, preferably plumb LBW, followed by a review. Everybody knows that. rolleyes

Australia fast bowler Ryan Harris has retired from the sport because of a knee injury, dealing the tourists a major blow ahead of the Ashes. Tough one to occur just before his probable last ashes for him, and few from us!

Yeah that is a shame. Harris has been a good player for Aus.

I see the pre Ashes war of words continues. Glenn shooting his mouth off again and a few others chirruping up.

Although why Jimmy A thought it would be a good idea to mention the spirit of the game, is quite beyond me.
