250-280+, which we will not get to.

The pitch is a 2 day pitch - will be a doddle to chase on.

If Australia get to 150 ahead then they will easily win this.

Why? It isn't a spinner's wicket at all - and his three wickets in the first dig were fortunate in the extreme.

Think lyon is a bit underated, he got some great bounce and a bit of movement, England never great at playing spin.

Anyway Luck can trump talent... just ask Ashley Giles

He's ok, nothing special.
The main problem for England is that for some reason they think they need to score 10 an over off him. Only one winner in that situation.

Australia should declare now. Just to show they're still up for it. hehe

Advantage Australia. England have to bat last on a treacherous pitch against the best attack since the Mongols under Genghis Khan. wink

Boo not fair, the other poster said 150, I was a lot closer...

121 to win, Finn to hit the winning run.....

120 will be a doddle. 25-30 overs.

Johnson can only bowl in 4 over spells. Starc adn Hazlewwod can't hit a decent line or length and so offer no pressure or support.

Aus top order will (rightly) be embarrassed that on an easy 2nd day wicket they couldn't score when all they needed to do was see of the shine and score with an older ball.

England thoroughly deserving winners as per Cardiff. I would like to see a match where both teams actually turn up and play.

Disappointed at how we handled the last 3 wickets. But 121 should be eminently doable.

As long as Bell doesn't do a Bell, Lyth manages to get to double figures and Cook's luck improves.

Yep a nice 50+ partnership to steady the nerves, then a canter across the line. Nightmare is Lyth goes cheap and Bell cracks under pressure again. Then it will make a minor bump look like Everest

PACE - LIKE FIRE!!

Anybody else seen the Sky lunchtime series on pace bowlers? On the intro the last shot is a close up of middle aged slighlty filled out face of that gentile softly spoken commentator - Michael Holding.

fk me - Whispering Death. How the hell can a middle aged bloke speaking softly be so scary??
