I don't understand all the negativity around. We have dominated this test and will win easily. I have a bet on England winning by 10 wickets.

England pessimism is endemic. Like Aussie optimism. A majority of England fans swill think England can still collapse and lose - and some Aus fans will think Aus can win this.

No chance. Not in these conditions.

FFS.

So, will Bell either be out for sub-10, or further ruin my selector credentials and win the game, passing 100 in the process?

Seriously guys, there really is not way that England coudl lose. And I don't meant in a 'mockers' way etc - think about it. Less than 100 now to get - you could start sloggign and get that with edges here and there.

Not at all premature to say (through gritted teeth) well done your boys.

Nope - exactly how Eng should approach it. Cannot lose throwing the bat at it.

Clarke bowling Lyon and Starc is dismal. His captaincy yet again misguided.

120 will be a doddle. 25-30 overs.

Johnson can only bowl in 4 over spells. Starc adn Hazlewwod can't hit a decent line or length and so offer no pressure or support.

Aus top order will (rightly) be embarrassed that on an easy 2nd day wicket they couldn't score when all they needed to do was see of the shine and score with an older ball.

England thoroughly deserving winners as per Cardiff. I would like to see a match where both teams actually turn up and play.
Nice try.

no matter how many runs he gets Lyth needs to be there at the experience that feeling and build from there.

starc was the most wayward in the latter stages of the first inns why play him now????

love the speccies baiting johnson though...sounds like a footy crowd

One more Test for Lyth. If he doesn't score well then I'd drop him for the 5th.

It's a separate mic though isn't it for outside the commentary box? So it's as loud as they choose to mix it.

edit: Lyth maintains his form.
oh FFS...opportunity totally missed by him... rolleyes

New batsman in.

Need wickets to win.

Where does Hazlewood bowl?

Short and fking wide.

I cannot comprehend how a professional cannot control where the ball lands. It is all they do, day in , day out. I can forgive batsmen - you are reacting to a delivery. But a bowler has zero outside influence affecting where he bowls.

Garbage.
