In all the excitement, a great Stuart Broad stat. The second englishman to 300 wickets and 2000 runs - Botham was the only other.

Are you suggesting broad's bowling is a freak? confused if so that sounds like sour grapes which is unlike you.
+ we had the temerity to prepare an English pitch with English weather conditions.
We should really have catered for flat track bullies instead.

I'm not. Years of test match statistics are suggesting that a test side being 21-5 within a few overs is an outlier. On another day Broad & Wood would have had 5 played & misses and the score would be 20-0. That is the nature of cricket. You bowl great spells sometimes and get no wickets. You bowl in great areas some days and every seaming ball is edged and caught.

I am not suggesting he is getting wickets with rank long hops.

I don't think we really want to be batting on this wicket, or the entire match could be over before stumps.

5-6 in 3 overs.

1 in 150 year perfect storm.

As I said before, no grit or patience.

I'm a little bit in shock here. I don't think I've ever seen a test side collapse quite so quickly, and I've been watching England for a long long time.
