Ive contrived to be unemployed this week and with starting today, it finishes Sunday so I can go to new work on Monday not having to be on tenterhooks checking the score! Result smile

Garg...best bet Im afraid is turning your mobile 3g on paying O2 £2 a day. Spoof via expatshield.

Some contrasting batting styles going on here...

Think the pitch looks a little flat at the moment, possibly no bad thing over all, but might mean it will be very hard to pick up the Aussie wickets.

Aus bowling is not great. Spraying it all over the shop.

Am at the office, though sadly our work IP's route through Germany, so I can't get TMS on the internet radio, as content overseas is blocked.

Annoying, anyone go a good international website for TMS coverage.

Either that I or I will bring the ipad in tomorrow
Try http://guerillacricket.com/ not TMS, but fun commentary when I want a change.

Grandpa Haddin paying for that huge hole in his gloves.
I see our resident PH Crimsters are having collective internet connection issues again, 2009-2013 style.

Good session for England.

Excellent contrast between attacking right-handed Root and the accumulating leftie Ballance.

Have we seen the beginning of the Bell end?

LOL

I see you're carrying on from when your team last won something. Couldn't even beat the Kiwis at home. And note you didn't post when you were 3 for not many.

Shame Haddin dropped Root on zero. 43/4 would have put the game into context and would have been a great result for the grounds staff.

Interesting to see how well England will bowl on it.

Bally gone - sorry missed it, am currently on the last 20kms of the day's Tour stage!

The day is in context John. Some good bowling from Aus, some rubbish and punished.

Quite brilliant and scored at a good pace. Worried for Bell but we have options.

He's undroppable right now. Our best batsman by miles. Test, one day, t20, he has them all.

Nice top edge 6 from Stokes hehe that will upset the slinger!

He is a much better player than when I first saw him play. England have on their day an immense team. Save for Bell whose day has been and gone. Bring in Bairstow or Morgan.

Good innings from Root. Rescued the day with Ballance and Stokes.

Time For late day fireworks?

That was yet another big save from Root, he's done jolly well getting England out of a pickle.
