Turned up, had a customer project meeting two days later and announced a stop to the Programme for 4 months. £3m projected invoicing for the yr down the loo and heads looking at me asking so what do we do with this berk? Answer = quick payoff. Upside - effectively get paid a tax free month for 2 weeks work and available to watch the Ashes
Now have to decide if I'm going back to old job, new one in Amsterdam or some mob in Didcot want me. There is an option D in Guildford but it's less money and after two weeks commuting around south East England I would rather chew my dick off.

Given that I'm usually not even in the country for the series, I fully intend making use of the opportunity!
