Just seen that Brook-Chaves won't now be on PPV. Think that's the right decision; with Klitschko-Fury and Joshua-Whyte being lined up for Sky Box Office, three in three months coming in to Christmas just seemed too much, especially without a big name opponent for Kell...

I'm very quickly forming this image of you in my head-

With folders of boxing stats on a shelf in that rather impressive museum of yours.

the Bristol book looks cool I'll have that.all the books I have read about the bare knuckle era from James Figg right up to jem mace seem to be centred around Bristol more than anywhere else. Top tip!
I found that gully book in the link you put up cheers.....but you'll notice that it's out of stock....hence casting my net a little bit further afield!

Terry Flanagan tonight was absolutely stunning. What a first defence that was.

Best performance by a British fighter this year by a country mile.

Just got round to watching the card. Man alive, two incredible fights!!! After the first couple of rounds you wondered how Beefy was going to land anything on someone that rangey...but once he got to grips with the distance, his power was way too much for Thompson and it was only going one way. Delighted to see one of the Smiths pick up a world title...pretty sure it won't be the only belt those boys lift!

Then Flanagan...

Completely agree this was the performance of the year by a British fighter. The fact the bookies had this fight pretty much level pegging, despite Flanagan being defending champion and the hometown fighter shows how rated his opponent was; or more likely how under-rated Flanagan was. Don't think they'll make that mistake again. He was absolutely devestating...and that left upper cut is an absolute thing of beauty! I noticed that the Transnational Boxing Rankings Board didn't have Flanagan ranked in the top 10 Lightweights whereas Magdaleno was listed #9....bet they'll be revising that pretty PDQ!!!

Still haven't sorted BoxNation so had to watch that in youtube. ...wow!!! Made up for smith...that finish was phenomenal. That second to last shot would have knocked a horse out.

Flanagan was amazing. From the first knockdown in the first round with that gorgeous left hook counter there only looked to be one winner. Beautiful boxing and finish!!! Tip top

Looks like Amir Khan has given up hope of fighting Manny Pacquiao. A negotiation tactic or a clear marker that Manny's been given the nod that the rematch is on...?! scratchchin

Or that Pacman simply won't lower himself to Khan's level.

I like Khan as a fighter, but he has been far too inactive and doesn't warrant the opinion he has of himself. He should avenge his defeats, fight 2-3 times a year and then start making a case for whoever is top dog.

Khan has lot's of options, he just needs to get something signed up, Garcia or Kell brook before the end of the year would be ideal! (Fingers crossed) I'm not sure what Al Haymon's role is in advising and negotiating for Khan but he surely has an interest in getting Khan in the ring sooner rather than later.
