golovkin is terrifying. i was getting claustrophobic just watching him close down lemieux. that little shoulder roll to deflect incoming rights also hides his own hook. great fight.

chocolatito looking like an unstoppable force too!

Most of Golovkins opponents must be mentally fked before they've even met him.

Golovkin - my word he is such a master of his craft. His footwork is a delight and the way he changes from the smiling, boyish chap into the laser guided pugilist with a mission to destroy is amazing.

In a way there are parallels to the Manny Pacquiao of 10 years ago.

Still makes me rofl 'English' thinking Eubank Jr can beat GGG laugh . He would get absolutely and utterly fked to pieces.

Ha! I'm angling more towards the Creed Stars & Stripes outfit...think the Drago gown might be an inch or two on the long side for me!

watched it again last night. good watch...

^ Excellent - some entertainment for tomorrow evening.

See Eubank's fight with Spike O'Sullivan has been confirmed as a final eliminator for the WBA regular title, which is being contested between Daniel Jacobs and Peter Quillin a week or so beforehand. Think that's a realistic target for Eubank assuming he comes through against O'Sullivan, though I think I'd still like to see him get at least one further fight in against a credible opponent before going after properly experienced top-tier fighters like those two, let alone the likes of Cotto, Alvarez and Golovkin.

I 5hink he'd have a hard night with both Jacobs and quillin.....not saying he'd lose but fighting st heads like the guy the other night......it's not doing him any favours...

watching that docu again and reading some of 5he comments......i wish someone would make a film of Richmond and his times.

We need a conglomerate of investors to get a film maker invved

There are some interesting stories from that era, that's for sure. If you were to make a film, the tales of Richmond and Molineaux would probably be the easiest 'sells' due to the American angle...Molineaux especially, winning the fight for his freedom and his 'owner' a $100k bet; pure Hollywood!

Plus, I know where there's some old boxing film props coming up for sale! 'Drago' looks a bit like 'Cribb' if you squint... wink

Ha!..we could make some truly fked up patchwork quilt of dream, reality and eras......it would be like fear and loathing in las vegas....with fists......probably wouldn't sell though...

never gonna happen mate...it's just to keep his name in the papers. he told me categorically that there was no way he could boil down past the super middle limit....and ggg has got a fair bit of unfinished business at middleweight yet.

...at Wembley I heard? Such a move would be a bit of a risk, not sure if such a big venue has sold out before.
