Ricky Burns looks like he's got a unification fight lined up with newly-crowned IBF champion Julius Indongo. Not really seen anything of him other than his impressive KO of Troyanovski so don't really know how big a challenge this is for Burns, but it would be fantastic if Burns could win; not only would this be his biggest achievement to date, but should see him secure a mega-money fight with either Broner, Crawford or even Pacquiao (as was being mooted recently).
and what a knockout it was!!!.....great fight for burns thereYiliterate said:

Yep finger crossed for Ricky Burns, few people in Boxing deserve some reward and success more than Ricky, I hope Eddie sees it the same way.tuscaneer said:
...and this allows me a chat with Kevin Mitchell and gets me my photo taken with Ricky Burns how exactly?!Stable doors and horses my friend...
Re: Burns, I think they may be taking a calculated gamble on Indongo. It was a great KO to win the IBF belt but felt very much a 'jackpot' shot, given it had the look of the haymaker about it and happened all of 35 seconds into the first round! Also, outside of that, Indongo's record doesn't really show him as a big KO artist, having a 50% knock-out ratio to that point against exclusively (southern African) domestic opposition. He looks rangey and being a southpaw will always make him a bit awkward, but hopefully Burns will still have enough in the tank - coupled with far, far greater experience - to see him through.

Great addition to the undercard! I thought Pricey might be on there too but it looks like he'll be fighting Christian Hammer on the undercard of the Eubank show. It'll be interesting to see if they show that fight free-to-air or in the PPV part...http://www.skysports.com/boxing/news/12183/1072307...

pricey/hammer a good fight....i think they will be wanting to get him out of there in good fashion to compare to fury's very messy off the floor win against him a awhile back...then hopefully the rebuild is complete and we see him back in with top 10 opponents.
every kid who enters a boxing gym should be sat down and made to watch this....

Not another video of you then mate https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PPW-D_RGNW0
He's phenomenal, the little trick where he pulls the glove down before he puts the hook in is almost taking the piss.
There is some bigger punchers up at light and super lightweight, I'd like to see him in with someone who's size and punch power gives him reason to pause.

Comes from angles. Mightily impressive. When's his next fight?
Supposed to be against salido .... he lost on points to him in a contentious decision in his second fight as a pro.... his first 12 round fight after coming out of the 3 round amateur system....Salido didn't win more lomachenko just hadn't paced to 12 rounds yet. He should ruin him in the rematch...
Terry flannagan is making noise about a unification fight against loma and I can see that happening you know!

Yeah I'm interested to find out if this going to be ppv or free to air. The wife bought me a Android TV box for Christmas so want to test what it can err pick up from international streams.RumbleOfThunder said:

once lomachenko spanks him good in the rematch the questionable loss will be nothing more than a footnote i reckon....
i can't wait to see what he does as a pro....even now in 8 fights and a two weight world champion is incredible....never mind going 396-1 as an amateur....best ever amateur boxer??....pretty much got to be i reckon
i'm just glad we're around to see it rather than someone like greb who's career achievements have to be pieced together from historical documents for us to read about
Hmm tough one to call there.
