not so sure.....gavin/ eggington was a great fight because gavin allowed it to turn into a fight. sam is massive at the weight and can dig.....so stay out of the way. paulie has had a lot of fights for sure but sam is quite basic to my eyes. if paulie stays mobile flicking shots i'm not sure that sam can shut him down because his footwork isn't that of of a technical pressure fighter....ergo i can see a malignaggi points win....

...could be wrong like, and sam could "shawn porter" himlaugh......but eggington aint no porter

Right, Carl Frampton against Leo Santa Cruz this weekend.

Hopefully an epic. 5000 traveling fans. Cruz is getting KO'ed I reckon

I reckon Frampton will pull it off again, but not sure if it will be by stoppage.

I am DEFINITELY watching it though!

Can't wait. Santa Cruz talking of a trilogy if he wins the rematch.

Lee Selby's IBF title defence on the Frampton/Santa Cruz card is off...rumours are his opponent has been diagnosed with Hepatitis.

That was a brutal KO from Mikey Garcia. Ouch. Statement of intent to the rest of the division right there.

I think the Sky pundits are over hyping this fight.

The first fight was very good, this hasn't quite lived up to expectations. Largely because Santa Cruz hasn't gone toe to toe with Frampton. He's used his reach advantage and taken the points, with two rounds to go I can't see Frampton winning this unless he gets a KO. Santa Cruz just hasn't given him the chances to counter, some very slick boxing.

Adam Smith seems to be selling this as a classic.

I am not sure I would want to see them fight again just yet. At this point in their careers they would more than likely cancel each other out again. Let them both pursue other options and then come back to this in 2018.

Yeah it was quite viscous.

I love that. Ward can survive Kovalev alright but a British Middleweight who comes unstuck with BJS somehow wrecks him. Pair of tts.

He is king of hype he doesn't believe anymore than any of us. He just thrives on getting a reaction

Having watched santa cruz and frampton a couple of times now it's apparent that Leo WAS under par the first fight. His jab control and counter punching was a thing of beauty the other night and I'm sorry to say that having seen him shut down a great frampton the other night he'd most likely take the 3rd fight in similar fashion as well

Having still not see the fight I might be talking bks, but I'm thinking that this is a Ward/Gatti II situation where Leo played more to his strengths and boxing ability, instead of getting caught up in a slug fest.

i think the analogy holds water pal.....gatti brawled like buggery but could box beautifully when the mood took him. now we know the same goes for santa cruz....i feel that if gatti and ward fought 5 or 6 times the result for the first fight in favour of ward would be a one off as was proved in 2 and 3 going to gatti....

i see frampton/ santa cruz in a similar way i think.
