I agree with Tusc, Frampton is undoubtedly a great fighter but he's small at the that weight and reach restricted, toe to toe or on the inside he's great but against someone who's able to counter and control the range he's always going to struggle. Santa Cruz had a 7inch reach advantage... 7 inches! You can give that away if the oppo isnt a top class mover and puncher or likely to get dragged into a brawl but not otherwise. Selby would be similar I think for Frampton, he might want to co sider going back down if he can, I think he looks to pumped up anyway. Selby vs Santa Cruz would be tasty.

Great insight into the lives of the honourable travellers.
The chapter on the St Ledgers day massacre is amazing
great book!...i love all the pictures that look like a rouges gallery...can't remember the names but tag lines like "he lost the title king of the gypsies when (whoever) chewed through his bicep in the 26th round"Great insight into the lives of the honourable travellers.

Make or break time for David Price this weekend. If it goes beyond two rounds I think he's going to struggle. Hammers durable and he isn't.
I don't think he has anywhere to go if he doesn't win this one.
I think my money's on hammer.
the key to the game is the jab. when he throws it without conviction and brings it back lazily he gets hit. when he is in the mood and throws it like wladimir he's a force of natureI don't think he has anywhere to go if he doesn't win this one.

There's a good YouTube documentary on BG just before he died. Still hit the heavy back with a force that would stop a train.

Yep no doubt he could be effective with his physical attributes, but as soon as he gets hit he goes all Audley and runs to the hills... with his back turned. m4tti said:

it's certainly very frustrating as he seems to have lost all confidence in his chin....and panics under fire.if he tucked it up and brought everything off the jab by the time he was finding the openings for the straight right he'd be knocking them all out cold..For some reason Ive ended up with more interest in seeing what happens to Price this weekend than I have Eubank. Eubank started really well, and generated a good deal of excitement, watching him spar with Froch and McKracken he looked the real deal.. but has gone off the boil on the interest side of things for me now.

there was no way i was paying to watch eubank go in against another sacrificial lamb but i will end up paying for it to support pricey.top bloke and as he started out at my old club i really want to see him raise some eyebrows by doing a number on hammer
Is the Price fight on the PPV part or free-to-air on ITV4?Gassing Station | Sports | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
