Quote from Bellew on Haye's physique:

"I could've been heavier if I wanted to, but I'm never going to look that good. He's an amazing athlete, he's pleasing on the eye: I think I might fancy him!"

'Your mum' from Haye to someone in the crowd was quite funny too.

It's quite intriguing how some boxers are putting on 10+ lbs of solid muscle in relativly short periods of time and varying ages.

It's doesn't even look like Bellew is in shape.

That said BJS never looks in shape either but he can certainly box.

I'm genuinely concerned for Bellew. I remember watching the Eubank/Watson fight years ago - Similar thing with the bad blood and we all know what happened.

I really hope the ref is on the ball tomorrow

Can't see anything but a quick win for Haye. I just can't see Bellew reacting well when Haye lands powerfully.

He's no Mr Nice Guy if you look into his history and it's just because he cannot speak English properly. If you ever read any of his interviews in his mother-tongue, he is quite different. It's just convenient to fall into the Mr Nice Guy role as all he can do is smile and string together a couple of oft repeated sentences.

Haye vs Bellew is more dross being fed to us by the usual suspects (Hearn and Haye) for easy money and Bellew wants some of that as he cannot compete with any of the top Cruserweight contenders and was fortunate to win a vacant title. If Haye is even a third of himself, he destroys Bellew early.

Bellew is heavy handed enough to hurt Haye, but he's just not quick enough. He won't be able to avoid Haye for 12 rounds. Bellew is saying if he can see out the first five or six, it'll be his fight along the stretch. It won't. He'll just tire and get caught. I'm sure he knows this. His best chance is to hurt Haye early and go full retard like Wilder does in the hope of getting him stopped.

Haye could probably get him out in the first round, but i think he'll toy with him for a few rounds first. Haye in the fifth.

Bellew couldn't drop Cleverly, neither Wlad nor Chisora could drop Haye.

Now, Thurman versus Garcia is a proper fight. wink

Absolutely. I favour Thurman, but Garcia always seems to perform better than I think he will.

I don't even think if it goes to the later rounds it'll make much difference for Bellew, McGuigan isn't just about ring craft and tactics, he's spoken before that hes had tuition from world renowned Olympic trainers such as Charles Poliquin. So the chances of Haye not making it 12 are slim. Haye more than likely trained in the states as the facilities were far superior.

Bellews is pretty much up against it in every aspect. Holyfield was a similar size to Haye and he didn't really gas, he kept throwing big shots till the bell. As for bellews theory about he's going to "suffer from lactic acid in the later rounds". I doubt that also as theres a few things you can use to reduce it that.. A good example of gassing and lactic acid is bellew against cleverly..

It's not really intriguing and nothing new. Although the time to start getting concerned is when the shape of your head changes cough cough

I was being polite with 'intriguing'. Joshua was about 220lbs not so long ago, now about 250lbs? Haye just over 200lbs, now 225lbs? All solid muscle gains.

Ahh yes I get you now, my brains shutting down for the weekend. Strange both pairs had time out between professional debut or re-debuts. Give you a little gap to keep nosey visitors out legitimately.

See Calzaghe v Lacy for not that ascetically pleasing v Six-pack etc. Although not relevant here as Bellew is getting knocked out because he's slower, less powerful, less skilled and lacks the chin to beat Haye.

Haye has always been obsessed with social media - in particular Instagram.
He is extremely confident and relaxed this afternoon as he shows the world what he is up to on fight day.
