Thinking of getting myself a multi gym, but, I will want to install it in an upstairs bedroom.

Any suggestions? Budget.. maybe £1k, but could pay more fore the right equipment!

Also, what kind of restrictions am I up against?

Just get a bench, a squat rack and some free weights. It's all you really need.

As above, combine these weights with a calisthenics type training of pull ups, dips etc.

Multi gyms are no where near as effective and are poor value

The thing is, I live alone, that's far from ideal when using free weights.

Rubbish. I use a 24 hour gym and often at 2/3am I'm the only one in there.

Bench press - use dumbells.

Squat - bail out if you have to. Learn to ditch the bar.

Weights are not dangerous - unless you are stupid
