"But he's allowed to tackle you if you're holding the ball!" hehe

Anyway... Wuss winning by a point. How many do we think they should've won that by? At least 8 in my view. They didn't half make heavy going of what looked like it should've been a win at a canter!

Your boys put up a firm fight. You were unlucky here and there.

Kermit - making heavy going is the Worcester way...

Rumours circulating that Fracois Hougaard has signed a longer term deal at Worcester. Bloody hope so.

Interesting, I've heard rumours that he's coming to Saints next year

No, you're confusing two things. As part of his longer term deal at Worcester, Dean Ryan has persuaded the pope to make Hougaard a saint.

Meanwhile, I'm waiting for Wuss fans to adapt the old "Ooh ah, Cantona" chant. With the correct pronunciation, they'd get "Ooh ah hoo hah" and sound like they were doing ambulance impressions the whole way through the match! getmecoat

Well I'd happily stick £20 in the communal pot if it helped his canonisation

All a bit of speculation. I think the logic is that to tweet in such an informal manner about signing for someone else when in contract at a relegation threatened club would be somewhat...crass.

And in fairness judging by what people say about him, he's a decent guy.

3 out of 4 off the back of a losing streak of 13.

One of the worst bits of assistant reffing ever seen notwithstanding, from the first half at least (all I saw before having to head to my daughter's end of term Stagecoach show), Wuss definitely deserved the win.

For any who didn't see it, one of the Quins players tried to keep the ball in play, the assistant stuck his flag up, half the players on both teams started walking in for the lineout, the assistant put his flag down, and one of the Wuss forwards picked the ball up and ran it into the corner. I know you're supposed to pay to the ref's whistle, but it was ridiculous...

Still, thank god the Six Nations is over, and we get Visser, Roberts and the England boys back!

For the purposes of clarity - the flag went most of the way up, and then came down instantly. It didn't even have time to get all the way up before it came down - it was a second at most.

A mistake granted, but if the ball is out, the flag stays up - and it didn't. The ref even shouted 'play on' as GJ picked the ball up, and STILL Quins were walking.

Whilst I agree it was a cock up by the touch judge, be it a lesson for Quins.

Know your laws, play the whistle.

Worcester actually got a third try in the second half. The referee disallowed it for a knock on, but it wasn't, it had come off a Quin's leg.

Sarries v Chiefs was a great looking game.

Wuss v Irish is just a race to the bottom! It's absolutely awful!

Most school teams would make better decisions that Irish did in that game.

Good for Wuss to have Irish as their first match after the Six Nations, and given that Irish have Quins (hopefully we'll cabbage them now we've got our internationals back) and Wasps in their run in, I can't see that the race to the bottom actually has any race left to run!

I'm confident wuss are safe now. If Irish get zero points from any match and it's confirmed.
