Satisfactory.

416 target in 140 overs. Need 4 by the close.

I'd be quite happy batting steadily until half an hour before tea, by which time we'll be all out with a lead of 400 plus. I don't see a need to rush things, there's plenty of time left, the pitch is starting to take spin with some uneven bounce too. I don't think it's a bad idea to give our tail a decent chance of having as easy a batting session as they will ever get in a test match.

I'd not be surprised if we were all out soon after lunch and bowl them out before the end of the day. Unfortunately I've got to spend the day being pleasant to relatives so won't get much chance to follow it.
So we're 415 ahead, which is sufficient. Nothing can go wrong from here smile

Interesting day so far, England have bowled well but the South African batsman are lacking confidence.

De Villiers gone in the first over to Mo

Their tail is barely longer than that of a Norfolk farmhand. Can it wag at all?

143-8 a collapse worthy of England. Hopefully Englad won't let the tail have a defiant little wag. Try and sneak that extra day off.

On another note Allison Mitchell of TMS is a really good commentator

This is fun isn't it smile

SA look lost at sea and England look rather competent, even without Jimmy.

Nine down, Just how are the Saffers rated number 1 in test cricket?

About to start a run down the ratings I suspect. Ageing match winners not performing every game and an attack far too reliant on one, possibly two bowlers.

I really thought this would be a close game and very tough.

But we have simply outplayed them in every department.

Despite being lumbered with Cook as captain, and two openers who can't open.

Interesting to hear ,

I switch to the Sky commentary when she comes on , her voice drives me insane.

What I want from a radio commentator is for someone to tell me what is happening and why. She's just about acceptable at the former, and I've never heard her even try the latter. Her voice is also so grating. I'm not a great lover of Blowers, however at least he makes good background listening.
