England's problems continue to be the 10/12 axis-George Ford is very off at the moment and the backrow. Haskell and Robshaw are fooking slow getting to the breakdown, I saw Haskell go into clear more than a few rucks with a totally wrong position and fail (to be fair he's a tall bloke too). He's affirming my fear that he's just a gym bunny who skips 'leg day' he's huge up top but seems to lack power in his legs IMO. BV was awesome today but would have more energy if the carrying duties were shared.
If I'm EJ I appreciate his position doing nothing too radical, eventually I hope to see quite a different side.
Plenty of positives and wins a win.

Both sides missed kicks and sadly for Scotland they were caught napping twice start of the game and start of second half.
Slow starting is a killer you have to be totally out of the blocks.
Never a fan of booing the kicker but it seems as the hooray Henries have joined watching the game since 2003 it's now part of it. I remember the first ever game I went to see I did that (was a child) my uncle tore me a new ahole. Maybe I'm old fashioned I don't know

TBH a win's a win but...
Fazlet showed himself up again with a petulant moment when we were in a good position - tt

Booing at kicks seemed to be a french club rugby thing recently but looks as though it is spreading again.
Always thought you lot gave Farrell a bit too much stick here but he deserved it for that needless act. I didn't really see a reaction from Laidlaw (as I was distracted by something at home, not that there wasn't one. I don't know) but the penalty was coming anyway regardless.
Not too much to get excited about for England or Scotland fans today

I don't think he's the answer at 12 but he's currently in better form than Ford.

I think we're talking evolution rather than revolution with Mr Jones....he knows how important it is to get momentum. Defence looked very solid but I expect that and the set piece which also looked a lot better than it did in the RWC were pretty much all that has been worked on in the limited time so far. I suspect the latter has a lot to do with Hartley replacing Youngs...he can a) throw b) hook and c) is apaprently for people that know aboue these things much easier for the props to scrum with than Woods. Still the second try was taken very well. If I'm EJ I appreciate his position doing nothing too radical, eventually I hope to see quite a different side.

Classy of the Scots to jeer the England kicks, just what we all love about rugby hope it gets stamped out so we can continue watching the game with a little decorum.
(Did I miss the English doing the same to the Scottish kicker?)
This has been going on for decades. Certainly at murrayfield anyway, it's what's called a hostile atmosphere. (Did I miss the English doing the same to the Scottish kicker?)
It's not a new phenomenon.

It's more Scots booing England, I think. I went to a sevens comp at Murrayfield in the 80s, where the crowd booed the England team, but also any English refs or touch judges when they were announced for any of the games. Wasn't particularly jovial either. Dickish, chippy.
Only watched the 2nd half of the Scotland/England game. Seemed to me that both teams were lacking attacking flair with Scotland offering the least while also loosing set pieces and handling errors.
Looking forward to the game later but hoping Wales don't continue the trend of starting slow in the 6N.
