Currently have a cheap pump that's ok (think 1.5 bar). Have another shower whose electric on the wall pump unit is on its way out.
Want to replace both with one pump for both showers. Probably need a 3 bar one and have seen Salamander, Stuart Turner and Aqualizer.
Really want as quiet as I can get so does anyone have any real world experience of them and offer an opinion?
Many thanks

I have a 4 bar Stuart Turner. It's very quiet, but more because I paid some attention to mounting and pipe connection etc.

I have an Aqualisa pump that goes in the roof above the bathroom and pumps the water down the riser rail. Brilliant design.

We have a Stuart Turner 3.0bar monsoon. It's quite compared to our old pump.

Exceptional build quality.

Ive got a 1.5 bar salamander

its ok noise wise, Ive only heard our previous knackered one so not much to compare it too.

I tried to put sound deadening round it and it cooked, not the best move ever

We're on our second Salamander. I wouldn't describe it as quite, customer service is good however

Had Salamander and thought was noisy, expired quickly too so replacement was Stuart Turner Monsoon 3.0bar which is vastly quieter and better built.

+1 - Ours failed about 20 months after fitting and it was replaced for free including the plumber to fit it under warranty. A lot of the noise depends on how it is mounted, flexible foam rubber feet are useful
