It'll have been asked a thousand times on this I know but can anyone recommend a good CV/Cover Letter re-writing service? Used one off of eBay last year but have got absolutely nowhere with what was done. Thanks.

Hi!
More than happy to have a look and provide some feedback; just PM me. Some insight in to your aspirant salary point and role would help.

^^ Take up Rogs offer. He's helped many a PHer and guided a fair few including myself. A fantastic starting point for you.

I've not received anything yet; I wonder if something or other isn't working on this site?

I'll take a look, if you wanted to try me. I got one mate a job by rewriting his CV recently, but I'm not in Rog's league!

I have also emailed you and would be really grateful if you can take a look at my CV etc and suggest how we can make me sound more desireable.

Nothing received I'm afraid; is it just me or can no-one else communicate via PMs?

It's borked. Or rather, it's inconsistently borked and they can't figure out the issue.

I tried to PM you on a separate point ROG007...

Could you possibly email me at:

pistonheads(dot)vaud(at)gmail.com ? Thanks

My email is suburbanson(at)googlemail(dot)com

It's an old email address that nobody knows so hopefully won't reveal me to prying eyes.

Cheers

A discussion with Rog is well worth it. Trust me, I got made redundant in November (<2 years) whilst being diagnosed with Testicular Cancer, walked straight into a contract role with a $70bn consultancy company, that finished two weeks ago, had a couple of weeks to wait for things to happen and am starting tomorrow with Krispy Kreme on a contract and I know the way he helped me write my CV made the difference in getting me in front of the audience.

Rog007,

Apologies for jumping on the bandwagon but I wouldn't mind a quick chat - can you email me also?

I'll endeavour to make contact with everyone before the day is out if that's OK.

Would love someone in the know to have a look over mine if you wouldn't mind?

Im a creative manager / designer and been in a role for 5 years so my cv is way outdated. Added in my latest position and a little spruce but i'm not sure if it still sounds a little vague?!
