Evening, previously I've had friendly saving schemes over 10 years and got a reasonable bonus but it's not been a lot,
Now I'm out of these and looking to put about £75 a month away, I want to do it for about 10 years and not be able to access it easily.
What is the best way to do this, I honestly have no idea and appreciate any advice. I want a good return and am happy to look at it every year to change it. I'm not sure where to start really.
Thanks

What about P2P lending? I've been tempted to chuck a similar amount a month into Zopa or Ratesetter to forget about.

At that level / length of time I'd be looking at a regular contribution to a share tracker / fund etc in an ISA.

Stick it in the Woodford fund and you'll be doing the same as lots of others.

Depending on your age now, and how the 10 years you mentioned would fit, it could be worth looking at pension. A somewhat more generous tax regime than ISA because you get "free money" from the government (although I do like ISAs a lot) and under current rules you can access the money pretty freely from about age 55.

I've just started a fiveraday account for £100 a month. Very good risk profiling questionnaire that asks about your tolerance to risk and such (mine came out at a level 6 for risk). Like you mine is a 10 year plan for an amount i can just put away without thinking about it. well worth a look.
