Satisfactory progress from England. Hopefully by the time Compton gets in there will be no pressure on him.

Been busy and away from radio, why has Compton opened?

Cook got hit hard on the knee standing at silly mid on, I felt it from here.

Thanks. Seeing as I've currently got a knee brace on for a broken knee, ouch.

Doh!, I glanced at the scorecard and didn't see Compton was opening.

I feel for Hales - he'll get his ton I am sure,

I am personally satisfied with him as a new partner for Chef at the moment though,

And obviously my opinion is the one that counts

So that's it, declared. Sri Lanka need 362. Seems reasonable decision from Chef.

Edited due to brain fade, though India might have had a chance of doing it. Avoiding the obvious R joke.

If India chase that or even get close I'll be amazed.

Looking at the weather radar over Lords, not hopeful.

covers are off, start at 11:30 - England will need to rip into them for any chance of a result, if they get 45 overs in today they will be lucky

Let's see, but there's a band of weather moving across that was over us, Worcester, earlier, absolutely hammered it down. But essentially agree, England will have to rip into them, and Sri Lanka will have to fold spectacularly for this to be anything other than a draw.
