Outstanding ton from Moeen. Disgraceful over rate from Pakistan.

All out in the 76th over. We should have a dozen overs at them tonight but due to piss poor rate it'll actually be about 3.

Christ, I sound like Boycs.

More brains in a pork pie. You could have driven a bus through that gap between bat and pad. They never listen to us ex players. Now Michael 'Olding, he were fast.

Predictions for Hales' score? Sub-20 both innings?

One down. He should be thankful I'm not a selector.

Hmm. Dumb shot but got a few on the board. Big innings next time please Joe.

Im not sure really. He is certainly not consistent, but then he plays a really good innings and you think maybe just maybe. I think they will stick with him though as do they want to chop and change again?? I have a feeling he will get the winter as well.
I suspect you're right...and over the last dozen or so innings his average is still 35 or so I think. But that includes a few 80+ stands, which highlights how crap 3/4 of them are.

Good fight back by the team today - Moeen is really on form. Pakistan look very much like they'll struggle and I can see this finishing in 4 days (or less!).

Talk of England going to no1 in the rankings, but I thought they could only go second...

Great knock by Younis after a lean tour up till now. Moeen bowling filth , I can see why they play him because of Vince and Ballance struggling but still.

I wouldn't think so. Pakistan A could very easily turn up. Younis Khan is the type of person to pull out 250 from absolutely nowhere.

214 behind, lots of scoreboard pressure but lovely batting conditions, so we should have no problems batting for a couple of days.

Everything could go wrong from here smile

They gave them a 100 head start last time, so now they're trying 200. For the challenge.

And another hehe - a great knock!

I can't see England winning this one - 214 is a big chase.

That was a great knock by Younis, he definitely needed that, was having a quiet tour by his standards. Hit Moeen Ali for some juicy sixes.

Class by Younus. Got over the double ton with a monster 6.

I thought if England could dig in and just loose Hales today, we would have a chance to draw.

Unlikely now to avoid defeat

How can a side play so well one minute and so badly the next. Poor concentration and poor application.

The bowling attack yesterday was very poor and the field didn't seem well set to prevent runs being leaked.

Can't see us getting close on this one now. Unless Bairstow and Ali can repeat their first innings (and some).

Hales definitely would not get another test for me. Any big innings he gets seem more luck than judgement.

Suspect we've seen the end of both Hales and Vince.

Is it going to be an innings plus defeat?

Whilst it's definitely worth bring in new blood, who's worth it?

Good question, maybe worth giving Boyc's Mum a shot with a hand crafted stick of rhooobarb from Kippax bats.
