BOOM. Thats how you play cricket.

Quadruple Nelson.. dickie would be spinning. Or walking on his cock.

Nothing can go wrong from here.

OI!!!!

you're only allowed to use that line when there's a reasonable chance of something going wrong.

I could waffle endlessly about how well we've batted, but any words I type wouldn't do it justice.

Wife and I love listening to TMS/watching the highlights but aren't really that knowledgeable about cricket.

So a question: Someone on TMS said that a batsman (err it might have been a bowler, I think I know what that means. It was the Wife asking so I wasn't listening that well!) had a strike rate of 93, what does that mean?

TIA

Not sure he'd be bothered , he clearly had no idea that he'd broken the record .
I suspect he had no idea he'd hit half of them smile

Jokes aside, what goes on in his head in test matches, when he's capable of batting like that?!

If he took the ODI mentality into tests he would still score big and not get out for 14 off 176 balls.

I thought it was David Shepherd who hopped on one foot when the score was on a Nelson.

Good effort by Mohammad Amir at the end, the highest ever score for a No.11 and helped Pakistan avoid the follow-on...

Yeah but, no but, yeah but, no but...

For a start field placing is different.
Secondly, Pakistan fielding was on an off day.
Thirdly, he skied a stupid shot on 50ish where 3rd man couldn't quite get there to catch it.
Fourthly, he holed out at deep square leg, off what turned out to be a no ball.

Anymore?

Point of order, he might have got the record for an English male ODI batsman, but Charlotte Edwards got 173 against Ireland at Pune in 1997.

Yes, this is the last ODI between England and Pakistan. Not sure if there is a T20 game later.
