resurrecting village cricket team

Our village hasn't had a cricket team for about 10 years now. They folded back then due to lack of players.

I'm looking to restart the cricket with just a few friendlies a season to get the interest back.

I have quite a few interested players, certainly enough to field a team once or twice a month

The problem is no one wants to fulfil the roles within the club.

So can I be the president, chairman, fixture secretary, club captain and treasurer?

Now I have no problem or lack of time to fulfil all these roles but will this create the right impression or be accepted. Be keen to hear peoples views.

I think you are trying to be too formal for a couple of games a year.

Worry about those problems when you have a ground , eleven players, and an opposition team.
