hehe The benefits of hindsight, eh?

To be honest, though, the only thing that stopped me posting the same was a Northampton (iirc) game a few years ago when they responded to a similarly harsh red card, totally turned round their game and blew the opposition away.

Stunning and superbly strong performance from the Irish with 14 men for an hour of the game; the final 3 or 4 man bundle of the South African winger into touch typified their attitude from the sending off onwards.
Id say beers all night on the chap who was sent off smile

Back to the England game but I love how Jones wasn't afraid to hook a player after 25-30 mins and change things up. The other thing that was different about the team was the calmness and the ability to adjust and sort things out and turn the game around.

Next test is huge!

One of Eddie Jones' qualities is belief in his decision making. No dithering.

I want to praise two players who I have been critical of in the past, Farrell and Haskell.

Both played great games today. I just wish Farrell would lose his habit of questioning referees' decisions. This isn't football, that's the captain's job.

Both games are 11:20am on BBC Two Scotland and BBC iPlayer (set region to Scotland) if not the BBC Sport website also.

France playing 2 games against Argentina.

£8.99 for 24h or £10.99 for 7 days. I watched the three internationals then a bit of the Canadian GP qualifying (enough to convince me that paying to watch F1 isn't worth it for me). It's available as an app on Apple TV 4 if you're Appled up.

Could be its 6.99. I was going from memory and this time I bought the 7mday pass so wasn't paying much attention to the 24h price.

Sometimes you can pick you a free voucher for a 24h pass from a shell garage. At least you could a couple,of years ago.

True.

Reminds me of Wal v France in the 2011 RWac Warburton. Criminal and we only just lost by a kick with 1 man off for 70mins
I bet the referee was English.

Alain Rolland was French the last time I checked, but why would you assume that?

I know beating England is the most important thing in World rugby to the Welsh (witness the poster on here trying to argue that knocking England out of the RWC was better than winning the thing themselves!!), but I'm afraid the sentiment isn't really mutual.

That is pure banter and you know it - heck the Stereophonics made that song back in the late 90's "as long as we beat the English".

Is it great beating the English? Sure. Why? They have so much more talent in depth so many more players a much tougher league much more money in the sport, head to head we swing a few games ahead each way it's so close and that's the fun about it.

Would I support England v any other team in the 6N nope would I support any team apart from Wales in the 6 N nope. Did I support England and Ireland fully yesterday totally.

Wales need a strong England and France that intensifies the competition - we don't want to beat a woeful side by big margins just a single point in a great test where were the underdogs that's he best it can get.

Best game Haskell has played by a country mile....reminded me of an amazing game Shaw had for the Lions a few years ago. Imperious performance.

I was saying at the end of the 6N that there was no way we could go to Australia with that back row and compete....how wrong I was. Breakdown kept us in the match in the first 20 mins.

If you can bear waiting a few hours, just subscribe to SuperRugby on youtube. I don't know who the bloke is put he puts all the internationals up online within a few hours of them finishing, and they are generally there for about three days. Yesterday I watched Wales v NZ, Eng v Australia, Fiji v Tonga and then this morning Italy v Argentina

On that note, the Italy v Argentina game was interesting. The former were appalling in the 6 N and had me doubting the value of their presence. But they took on an excellent Argentinian team at home, stuffed full of guys with Rugby Championship and Super Rugby experience, and fronted right up, only losing narrowly in the end. And without Parisse too. Maybe Connor O'Shea and Mike Catt have something worthwhile on their hands. I hope so, for the sake of the 6N.
