English Rugby Union Team; first southern hemisphere Series whitewash in over 100 years?
This would be the same team that was dicked out of sight in their own World Cup? Why not nominate the England football team - they were after all the only only team in the whole of Europe that qualified for the second most prestigious international tournament with a perfect ten wins out of ten record.
If you define same team to include all the players and management from the WC then no it wasn't
No, you define same team as competing under the same name, otherwise I assume you'd be nominating a number of different England rugby teams or did the same fifteen play in every game?
Ok. So it's the same team that won the WC in 2003

The last two weeks of The Rugby Championship have really shown that beating Australia anywhere is currently nothing to shout about. They are abysmal.

Yep. Different personnel, different management, different coaches but still the same team.

Isn't it really showing that New Zealand are a class above all the other teams?

I'm fearful for the Lions Tour next year, as I don't think we can get near their speed and physicality for a full 80 minutes. I'm really looking forward to the tour though!

If England had won the Rugby World Cup in 2015 they would have been amongst the leading contenders for the 2015 SPOTY team of the year award. They didn't and they weren't. In 2016, England has won the Six Nations Grand Slam and completed a whitewash over Australia in the 2016 summer tour. That's why they are likely to be amongst the contenders for the 2016 team award...

England need to win the Autumn games to have any realistic chance....going a calendar year unbeaten would be a pretty special achievement. But it's nowhere near what Leicester did...nor is any other team achievement.

Can I add;
Dame Sarah Storey (Most successful female paralympian)
Megan Giglia (came back from a stroke to win Gold)

On the whole, I expect to Olympic/Paralympic squads will be up for team
