Well he is Cornish...

Michael Barry commented on the frequent use of tramadol at Sky back in an interview with Cyclist a few years ago... you're still miles away from uncovering something we didn't already know.

Totally off of topic (sort of) Seems a few All Blacks including Dan Carter are in trouble with TUES now. Rugby must be in danger of exploding, pardon the pun with drugs issues.

tiernan-Locke withdrew from the road world championships on 29 September 2013 because of a potential discrepancy in his biological passport data.[17] He was suspended from racing for Team Sky or taking part in any training activities until he had faced an anti-doping hearing.[18] In July 2014, his ban was announced by the UCI, banning him until 31 December 2015 and stripping his 2012 Tour of Britain and World Championship results.[19] Team Sky immediately terminated his contract.[20] In August 2014, UK Anti-Doping upheld the ban, accepting Tiernan-Locke's claim that he had indulged in binge drinking two days before the positive test but rejecting his contention that he had not rehydrated by the time of the test, given that he was tested on the eve of the 2012 World Championship road race, where he finished 19th.[21] Tiernan-Locke subsequently expressed an interest in returning to professional cycling after the end of his ban.
The banned cyclist sacked by Sky taking the higher morale ground talking about being offered a substance that was not banned.

Pretty sure I read that of all sportsmen currently serving bans from UKADA, rugby players accounted for at least 50%. I suspect the use of growth hormones is rampant.

Nah. You get so big and strong just by utilising a good diet and working hard.

Indeed it looks that way. The trouble is when you tell one lie you have to tell another lie to cover your ass for the first one and then it all starts to fall apart.

According to my wife, a doctor for 16 years now, the answer would be ZERO.

The only times she's encountered the particular drug was for pain relief injection into joints
Kenalog injections were all the rage in the 90's.. Had them myself at school to try and reduce acute allergy related asthma, they worked for about one week.. Then faded rapidly, repeating them in very close succession wasn't advised. They're a double edged sword, reduce all inflammation but also induce a catabolic effect. Probably not a major issue as a pro cyclist as you may have something to counter act that on the boil.

Bloody right. He can start his redemption by handing back that knighthood, and Brailsford can give his back too.

Why? I'm not defending their actions but what exactly have either done wrong, that is illegal or that no other team have been doing? I think you're doing hundreds of coaches and riders in team GB a massive disservice.

To me it seems a lot of you had some form of emotional attachment to sky or team GB, now you're rushing to distance yourself from the whole thing as quickly as possible so you're not embarrassed if it comes crashing down.

Others are trying desperately to imply they knew all along, like they did with Lance, and if it eventually appears that sky were up to no good, can claim these moral high ground, once bitten and all that.

Seems like you are distancing yourself by saying that your not defending them when you were so verificous in your comments about how clean Team Sky and Wiggins were/are?

So what you're saying is he hasn't broken any actual real rules at all? Just made up ones on an Internet forum.

I'd love to live in your world of fairies and pixies and everything made of lollipops.

They're being investigated now. So obviously someone that doesn't share your view of the world thinks there's more to this than meets the eye. Brailsfraud lying again....

Don't forget Brailsford's claim that he had no idea of the performance enhancing properties cortisone injections would give Wiggins. And this is a man who prides himself on attention to detail. I mean the list of faux pas from this team is so long it's a toilet roll job. Frankly it's turning into a comedy.
