Westwood you loser. That might cost the cup I think.

Two short puts in two holes. Useless.

No wonder he's never won a major.
he's never been able to putt, but he brought that on himself as all he had to do was putt before Willet. Even so the two putts on 17 & 18 you won't see two worse putts by a pro

How many times has Westwood done that over the years frown

I can only see wins for Rory, Pieters & maybe Garcia or Stenson tomorrow.

Comfortable win for cookie monsters I think

If we win this, and I don't think we will now, it will be despite Clarke as captain and not because of him.

Westwood appears more and more to be a pick of a mate rather than a player in form. Dreadful putting on those last two holes, appears to be a busted flush.

Split up the Spanish duo of Garcia and Cabrera Bello. Those two were quality and he splits up to pair Sergio with the out of form Kaymer.

Chris Wood must be wondering what he's done to upset Clarke. Bang in form this season, then ignored on the first day, he wins his match this morning with Rose and is promptly left out again.

His hands were tied over the selection of Willett, Fitzpatrick and Sullivan so maybe that's why he went for the experience of Kaymer and Westwood rather than Russell Knox or Soren Kjeldsen.

Hope I'm wrong but based on this afternoon's matches, US to win by four or five points.

Diabolical.

Absolutely dreadful from Westwood - that was a vital match.

What a disappointing end to a fantastic days golf (if you're European!)

Can only see a big USA win in the singles.

Darren is more concerned with his mates being happy than in winning. Ryder cup drinking club. And his new hairstyle.

Plays Sergio in the lates despite it being obvious that he would have lost points without Cabrera Belo in the morning.

Willet and Westwood together? Why! Because their surnames start with a 'W'....?

Kaymer looked lost.

The points will be split this afternoon, but in the US favour.

Shame poulter is out of it with injury. Really missed his personality.

Seems like every time I looked up, Europe were missing a putt and Americans were high fives all around,

It's going to be one of those vulgar American victories where they all run onto the green isn't it?

It wouldn't surprise me if there was a clamour to make it four captain's picks instead of three. Looks like there's a few in the team that he'd rather weren't there because he doesn't trust them.

Singles line up...

McIlroy v Reed should be a good match.

American golf fans aren't unlike English football fans... the 'you-es-ay' chants sound very similar to 'in-gur-land'.

Equally as ignorant.
Noticed on Teletext that Rory had had a USA fan removed from the course for verbal abuse.

Yes... 14.5 points needed to win the Cup.

Both captains seem to have done sensible things with their playing orders, IMO. Could be close.

Could come down to Matt Fitzpatrick against multiple major winner Zach Johnson. Ulp.
